Senior PHP / Laravel Developer

Own the hardest parts of our client applications and set how the rest of the code gets written.

You take the projects where the requirement is unclear and the deadline is real. Database design, the parts of the system that handle money or personal data, and the reviews that stop bad code reaching a client.

We run plain PHP as well as Laravel, on shared hosting as often as on a VPS. If your instinct is to reach for a framework before understanding the problem, this will frustrate you.

You will also be the person a junior asks. That is part of the job, not an interruption to it.

Requirements

Strong PHP and MySQL, Laravel in production, query tuning, Git. You should be able to read someone else's code without rewriting it first.
