Google Analytics (GA4) offers a Data API and built‑in export options. Beginners often forget to enable the API or to grant the right permissions; double‑check the service account has read access to the property. In practice, you’ll need a view that contains all the UTM‑tagged traffic you plan to analyse.
Create a test property, add the basic tracking code to a dummy site, and generate a few hits with your UTM URLs. Verify the hits appear in the Acquisition > Traffic acquisition report before moving to automation.
