Install @sendgrid/mail and set the API key as a Netlify environment variable (SENDGRID_API_KEY). A frequent beginner error is committing the key to Git – always use Netlify’s UI or a .env file ignored by Git. In the function, call sgMail.send(msg) and handle the promise.
