You’ll need API keys for Google Custom Search and Google My Business. The common mistake is enabling the wrong API or forgetting to restrict the key, which can lead to quota exhaustion or security issues. After creating the key, store it in a .env file and never commit it to version control. In production, these keys are passed as environment variables to the script, keeping credentials out of the codebase and allowing multiple clients to use separate keys.
